Hoefslag Horse Expo is a new event, held at the Brabanthallen at 's Hertogenbosch. The welfare book "The contented horse" was presented there.

The writers publicly discussed the subject of horse welfare, followed by a clinic to show the message of the book. Authors Emiel Voest, Machteld van Dierendonck, Eric Laarakker and Tessa van Daalen talked about this important issue.
