Colic has claimed the live of three famous horses in the past few days: Mythilus, Jumpy des Fontaines and Welt Hit II.
Mythilus was Courtney King-Dye's top mount, that she competed at the Hong Kong Olympic Games for the USA. Jumpy des Fontaines was there too with his Chinese rider Li Zheng, for who the olympic level seemed a bit too high. Welt Hit II, the 17-year old stallion by Weltmeier of the "Havikerwaard", also succumbed to the consequences of colic.
